Kartikeya Gummakonda’s drunken antics
90ML, whose songs have already created a good buzz in the industry, is set to hit the theatres on December 5 this year.
Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda’s full-on commercial entertainer 90ML, directed by debutant Shekhar Reddy Yerra, has already garnered curiosity for its title. But the filmmakers vouch for a lot more to the film than just that.
“90ML has an interesting premise. Apart from the fact that the protagonist (played by Kartikeya) will be seen as an alcohol addict, the film explores the emotional arch in a relationship. Also, there’s an interesting love story in it,” explains director Shekhar Reddy.
“Apart from Anup Rubens’ soothing numbers, his background score will be one of the greatest experiences for the audience,” reveals Shekhar.
While Tollywood has witnessed several action-drama films 90ML, according to Shekhar, is going to be different.
“Kartikeya’s antics are something to watch out for; the way he carries himself and his demeanour, etc. are all very unique,” says Shekhar as he thanks producer Ashok Reddy Gummakonda for believing in the story and producing it.
