Music, an integral part of the story
The composer adds that the music in the film perfectly complements the story.
The Ay Pilla number from director Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Love Story has taken the Internet by storm. Released on Valentine’s Day, the romantic number, shot on Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi and composed by debutant Pawan Ch., perfectly sets the mood for people in love.
Talking about the response, Pawan says “When Sekhar garu explained to me the situation in which the song is set, I tried to ensure that the music went with the narrative. At the same time, we wanted to make an emotional statement with the song. We are glad we achieved it.” The composer adds that the music in the film perfectly complements the story. “All the compositions are completely story-based. I believe music should be an integral part of the story and Love Story will be a treat to all music lovers”, he says. A protégé of A.R. Rahman, Pawan describes Sekhar as musicologist. “His knowledge of music is very strong, and I thoroughly enjoyed working with him,” says Pawan, signing off.
