The success of Baahubali has influenced Chiranjeevi a great deal. The megastar was all set to start shooting for his upcoming film on freedom fighter Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy from August, but it has now got delayed.

The reason? Inspired by Baahubali’s stupendous success, Chiranjeevi has decided to increase the budget of his film. “The actor has asked his production team not to compromise on anything as he wants to make the biopic with high standards. So the  filmmakers want to erect big sets and make the film a big attraction like Baahubali,” says a source from the unit.

The budget estimate is now likely to cross Rs 100 crore and Chiranjeevi wants to start the shooting from September onwards. “Initially, they wanted to start in August, but now it may be delayed further as the pre-production work will take more time than earlier,” says the source. They are also planning to rope in pan Indian actors. Surender Reddy is the director while the Paruchuri Brothers are penning the story.
