Balayya is a Prankster, says Musskan Sethi
Actress Musskan talks about her debut film Paisa Vasool.
Born and raised in Delhi, Musskan Sethi always aspired for a career in showbiz. “I worked in ads and music videos before being spotted by director Puri Jagannadh. I came down to Hyderabad for a look test, and was given the toughest monologue for the audition. I prepared hard and eventually bagged the role,” recalls Musskan, who also pursued a course in interior designing in the US.
The former model will be seen as Shriya Saran’s sister in her forthcoming film Paisa Vasool. “I play a teenage Telugu girl and bring an interesting twist to the narrative. I love my costumes, the specially designed magenta lehenga that I wore in the song makes me look pretty,” she smiles, adding, “I am also learning Telugu.”
Revealing how she prepared for her part, the actress says, “I attended workshops for diction training. Also, my look had to be transformed completely. But the toughest part was to live up to the expectations of the people.”
Describing her co-star Balakrishna, she says, “He is the most grounded actor. Initially, I was nervous to work with him, but he broke the ice and brought out the confident side of me. He always used to surprise me with his pranks and I would be tense, but he would do it all for fun,” she says.
Musskan says Puri is a star maker. “I couldn’t have asked for a better launch,” says the actress, who explored the city a lot.
“I visited Charminar, Golf Course, shopped for bangles and pearls.”
