Mahesh Babu gave an emotional speech at the pre-release event of his upcoming film SPYder. The actor said that he puts his soul and life into a film after signing it. “My directors are equal to God. I believe in them, which is why I delivered some good films like Athadu, Pokiri, Okkadu and Srimanthudu,” said Mahesh.

The 42-year-old  revealed that his childhood dream was to work with cinematographer Santosh Sivan. “I watched films like Dalapathi and Roja as a child, and wished to work with him when I become an hero. Now, my dream has come true with this film.”

Mahesh Babu’s father Krishna recalls an interesting memory.  “When I first went to Chennai, I got an offer in a Tamil film, but I told them that I don’t know the language. I hired a tutor for one month; still I couldn’t learn it. So I lost an opportunity to act in a Tamil film, Kadhalikka Neramillai, directed by C.V. Sridhar. But later, Adurti Subba Rao introduced me in Thene Manasulu.”
