Grateful for the chance

Actor Sumanth is truly privileged. After all, he’s gearing up to play his grandfather (ANR) in the forthcoming biopic on NTR, directed by Krish. “Many says that I look and talk like ANR garu, so I am thankful for the opportunity. Not many get to portray his role, so it comes with a lot of responsibility too,” explains Sumanth.

The Malli Raava star will undergo a makeover as part of his preparations.

“Since ANR garu was never seen sporting a stubble or beard, I had to go in for a clean shaven look. Now this is something new even for me because I will be seen like this after five years,” Sumanth adds.

The actor shares that he has multiple looks in the biopic. 

“Since the character has a wide span and travels with the protagonist, my role has multiple looks that reflects various time periods,” he says.
