Mumbai: PV Sindhu, who became the first Indian to win gold at the BWF World Championship, was recently gifted a brand new BMW by Telugu superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni. The ceremony took place at the Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.
PV Sindhu's coach Pullela Gopi Chand was also present on the occasion.

The event was organized by V. Chamundeswaranath, vice-president of Telangana Badminton Association.
Sindhu became the first Indian to win badminton World Championships by beating arch-rival Nozomi Okuhara of Japan 21-7, 21-7 in a lop-sided summit clash that lasted just 38 minutes in Basel, Switzerland.
