Raai laxmi to star in a bilingual

After her last outing Julie 2, Raai Laxmi, has signed on another bilingual (Telugu-Tamil). The film, to be directed by Karri Balaji and produced by Raj Kumar (Guntur Talkies fame), will also feature Anjali in a pivotal role. The film will roll out next month.

Talking about the film, Raj Kumar said, “When Karri Balaji gave us a narration about the plot line, we were pleased. Since he has the experience of directing soap operas and short films, we wanted to do the film on a large scale.

Raai Laxmi, Anjali and I have given our nod in just one sitting. It’s a new-age film and will have all the ingredients of a commercial fare. We are looking forward to the shooting.”
