A while ago, a friend of mine sent me a video, which had the Honourable PM, Narendra Modi mentioning ‘Kattappa’, in one of his speeches. I was very excited after watching the video. I knew Baahubali would be a big film and we are very happy that it has broken all records,” says Divya Sathyaraj, a renowned nutritionist and daughter of Sathyaraj, who played Kattappa in Baahubali.

About her closeness with her father, she elaborates, “My dad has always narrated scripts to me since I was 10 — and has always asked my mom, brother and I our opinions on them. When he narrated the one liner from Baahubali, I loved it but was not sure if he should do the film because he had to be in Hyderabad for a long time. I am not used to him staying away for that long — his outdoor schedules have always been for song shoots, which usually last a week or two.”

Ever since the first part of the movie released, she says everyone, from her patients to sales people at the super market were curious to know, ‘Why Kattappa killed Baahubali!’. “I did not ask him about it even once and neither did my mom or Sibi. I did bully him once though saying I would tell all my friends! Sibi and I would play guessing games in front of Dad. He would simply smile and say nothing. Even if we had pestered him, he wouldn’t have told any of us. I think that was the only secret he kept from me because we are the best of friends and tell each other everything. We knew the secret only when we watched the film. I have already seen the film twice and will be watching it with my granny (dad’s mom) and dad again.”
