Naga Shaurya in a Korean remake!
The actor will be paired up opposite Samantha in the Nandini Reddy directorial.
There have been major casting developments in Samantha’s forthcoming film. After the actress agreed to come on board for the Telugu version of the Korean film, Miss Granny, we have now learnt that actor Naga Shaurya will also be a part of it.
Apparently, the film’s director Nandini Reddy has been on the lookout for a young actor who can complement Samantha in the comic drama. When she approached Naga Shaurya for the part, he quickly gave his nod. Nandini felt that the Sam and Shaurya pairing would be considered a novel casting and would in turn lend the film a feeling of vibrance.
This is the second time both Shaurya and Samantha are working with director Nandini Reddy. While the former starred in the family drama Kalyana Vaibhogame, the latter was part of the romantic comedy Jabardasth.
“Shaurya’s role will be very unique and expressive with subtle emotions. Since he has not played such a role so far, the actor is pleased with the opportunity he has got,” informs a source.
The film is about a woman in her ’70s, who magically finds herself in the body of her 20-year-old self after having her picture taken at a mysterious photo studio.
