Kamal's advice to Shruti Haasan
Kamal also said that he is jealous that he could not think of a title like Veera Sivaji which is Vikram Prabhu's next offering.
At the audio launch of Vikram Prabhu’s upcoming film Wagah, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan recalled his association with the former’s grandfather, the legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan. “We worked together in Thevar Magan, which was produced by my banner and had dialogues written by me. I used to wonder, and get jittery about going to him and explaining the dialogue. But he was like a child at heart, and if he liked the lines, he would give me a big pat on my back.
He was the most obedient actor I have ever seen in my life”, Kamal revealed. He adds, “I probably sat on his lap more often than his children did, and I feel proud to think of myself as the eldest son in Sivaji ayya’s family.”
Referring to the duo’s grounded nature, he remarked amidst thunderous applause, “Now his son, my brother Prabhu is an actor to reckon with, and his son Vikram Prabhu is making his mark too. I wonder how they are so grounded and humility personified, despite hailing from a legendary film family? I want to show you (Vikram) as an example to my daughter Shruti and advice her about being modest”. Kamal also said that he is jealous that he could not think of a title like Veera Sivaji which is Vikram Prabhu’s next offering.
