Raj Tarun dropped from another project

Actor Raj Tarun has been dropped from yet another project for quoting an unusually large amount as remuneration. Swapna Dutt, daughter of producer Ashwini Dutt, had planned a film with Raj Tarun and roped in director Ravi Babu.

“Everything was finalised and the actor had given his dates. However, he has asked for the satellite rights of the film, which the production house felt was too high. They thus, decided to drop the project,” says a source.

The team worked nearly six months on the project, but the production house felt that the actor was quoting an amount that was triple his regular remuneration. They have still not yet decided whether to rope in another actor or completely shelve the film.
