Popular actress Suhasini is going to play Sabitha Indra Reddy in Yatra, a biopic on the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy directed by Mahi of Anando Brahma fame. YSR, who started his 1500-kilometere long walk from Chevella in Ranga Reddy district, had admitted several times that Sabitha was like his own sister and even began his walk only after she tied a rakhi to him. After he came to power, he made Sabitha the Home Minister, which was the first time a woman held that post in Andhra Pradesh.
Director Mahi feels that Suhasini is the right person for the role. “It’s an important role in the film,” says a source. Rao Ramesh is playing K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao while Sachin Kedekar also has an important role.
