A huge set for Ram Charan's next 'Rangasthalam'
The set has been recreated to resemble the 1980s, the period during which the film is based.
The team of actor Ram Charan’s next, Rangasthalam, have set up a very costly set in Hyderabad to shoot an elaborate schedule of the film which will mark the completion of most of the film’s talkie part. After having shot elaborately in various locations surrounding the Godavari belt, the makers have now constructed a village set worth of Rs 5 crore and this is where the team will have a 35-day schedule.
“The set has been recreated to resemble the 1980s, the period during which the film is based. After elaborate shoot schedules in Andhra, the film’s cast and crew was quite drained out. But they have completed major portions. A few key scenes will now be shot in this set,” reveals a source in the know.
Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Samantha, Aadhi Pinisetty and Poojitha Ponnada.
