Dhamaka director to don producer's hat?

It seems to be the season of  directors turning producers in Tollywood. After young directors like Maruthi, Sampath Nandi and Dasarath, another young director Trinadha Rao Nakkina is turning producer to dish out thematic films. “Trinadh Rao is going to promote new talent and refreshing subjects under his banner and raise the bar on Telugu cinema,” says a source and adds,  “Trinath has recently delivered blockbuster film ‘Dhamaka’ as director and is also in talks for a few big ticket movies,” he adds.

Actually, Trinadh Rao made his mark with love stories like ‘Cinema Chupista Mama’, ‘Nenu Local’ and ‘Hello Guru Prema Kosame’ but moved to action films with ‘Dhamaka’ and tasted big success. “He wants to do all kinds of movies to move up the ladder of success in Tollywood,” he adds.  

Earlier talking to Deccan Chronicle, Trinadha Rao claimed that he wants to join the bandwagon of action directors in Tollywood. “I do admit that initially, I tasted success with tender love stories. When I got an opportunity to work with a star like Ravi Teja, I had to change my style and deliver an action-based film keeping up with his larger-than-life image. Of course, I could weave a love story again but this time I'll blend action into it to cater to young Telugu heroes. Nonetheless, I wish to dish out more slam-bang action movies with big stars,” he concludes.

However, as a producer he will dish out content-driven movies and enthrall the Telugu viewers and truly a quite balancing act from the noted director.
