Kamal Kamaraju's next film is titled Agochara, directed by Kabir Lal
Bollywood’s renowned cinematographer Kabir Lal had earlier handled lenses for films like Pardes and Yadeein. So, the news of him becoming a director is exciting for many, including the young actor Kamal Kamaraju.
The actor has signed up for the upcoming Kabir-directorial, a thriller named Agochara, in which he’s set to play the role of a psychologist. The film, we have learned, is an adaptation of the 2010-Spanish thriller, Julia’s Eyes. “I signed the film for Kabir Sir because I feel as an experienced cameraman, he can bring better facets of the narrative to the table,” shares Kamal.
Incidentally, the film is being shot in Uttarakhand, which according to Kamal is to enhance the believability factor and to add a bit of spice to the narrative. “Generally, suspense thrillers are set in and around a city or an abandoned house. But Kabir Sir wanted to shoot the film in Uttarakhand because he wanted to transport the audience to a different location through the film,” he explains.
Besides the viewing experience for the audiences, the picturesque locations in the film, according to the Kamal, will add to the suspense element of the story.
