It was all about brotherly love and mutual admiration at the audio release of Pawan Kalyan’s film Sardar Gabbar Singh at Hitex. And PK and his elder brother Chiranjeevi, who have not been in the best of terms in the recent past, took “bromance” to new heights.

The 3000-capacity hall was full and many fans were waiting outside. And as Pawan Kalyan walked into the hall, the crowd erupted.

It was Chiranjeevi who got the ball of love rolling. Stating that he had watched Gabbar Singh over and over again, Chiru said, “I enjoyed watching the film and every bit of Pawan Kalyan. I am confident that Sardar Gabbar Singh is going reach greater heights.”

He added that he had been shocked when he had heard Pawan Kalyan had decided to quit the industry after two or three films. “When I heard the news I was in shock. I want to give him some advice… His decision is not correct and he should continue in films. I know he will reach the heights of any field he chooses ... he is capable of riding on two boats and it’s not good to distance himself from the films,” said Chiranjeevi.

“When Pawan Kalyan achieves any heights I am the first person to feel proud along with my parents,” added the mega star.

Though Pawan Kalyan didn’t say anything about Chiranjeevi’s advice, he said that he loved his brother a lot. “We are apart politically, but the bond between us is very strong. There is no need to say in public that I love my brother very much. He is always there in my heart and he is my father figure after my parents,” said Pawan Kalyan.

He added that Chiranjeevi was the inspiration for him to enter politics. “I have seen his struggle, his passion and his dedication. Without any support he reached the top and he gave a platform to me and many others,” added Pawan Kalyan.

“As a child I was a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan and after annayya became an actor, I liked him,” he said.

PK added that he was releasing the film in Hindi not to create or break records. “It’s a good film and people should watch it. That’s the reason we are releasing in Hindi,” he says. The highlight of the event was when the brothers took a selfie with their fans in the background.
