Chiranjeevi’s caution
Megastar Chiranjeevi is seemingly treading with caution regarding the screenplay of his upcoming films
Two of Chiranjeevi’s forthcoming films include remakes. While Lucifer is a Malayalam remake, Vedalam is said to be a remake of a Tamil movie. While the megastar is currently wrapping up the shooting of Acharya, he is said to be a little cautious about the screenplay of the two films mentioned above.
Recently, the Venkatesh-starrer Narappa, a remake of Tamil film Asuran, released on an online platform. However, the film, despite being a frame-to-frame remake of the original, has not gone down well with the audience.
Taking lessons from Venkatesh’s Narappa, a cautious Chiru is said to have asked to further alter the existing narrative style in both his remakes to spice up the content.
“The script teams of both the films had already made a few changes to the narrative as compared to the original. The team will further work on the screenplay and the script before coming up with the first draft of narration,” adds one of our sources.
