Ravi Teja trained in firearms in Poland
Eagle tipped to be an intense action thriller
While audiences have seen Ravi Teja in several roles, his character in the upcoming film Eagle will be unique. According to the film’s director Karthik Gattamneni, the character in the intense action thriller has multiple shades. The actor’s badass look in the latest poster has already caught attention!
The film has several action sequences, and for one of the major episodes shot in Poland, Ravi Teja underwent firearms training for a week at a shooting range in that country. “He (Ravi Teja) is a quick learner and picked up the nuances very quickly. He was trained by a former Army man,” says the director.
Real guns (snipers) and bullets were used during the shooting. “We wanted the smoke effect after the gun is fired (rebound), and that is possible only if real bullets and guns are used,” the director explained, adding that all precautions were taken while filming.
Karthik is confident that the film will strike a chord with the audience.
“We shot extensively in Europe, including Poland and London. The action scenes in those locations will keep the audience glued to their seats,” he says. The makers have wrapped up the shooting and the post-production work is in full swing.
