Anjali Patil to play key role in Rajinikanth's next film
To be produced by Dhanush's banner Wunderbar Films, the movie is being directed by Kabali director Pa. Ranjith.

Anjali Patil, who played the lead role in the critically acclaimed Telugu film Naa Bangaru Thalli has landed a big project. The actress, who has starred in Bollywood films like Chakravyuha and Finding Fanny, will soon be seen in a very key role in superstar Rajinikanth’s next, Kaala, the title of which was announced on Thursday.
The actress announced the news via a tweet: “Next film for this year. With THE ONE AND ONLY. Thalaiva. Produced by @dhanushkraja, Directed by @beemji..#Rajnikanth #Superstar #Kaala (sic).”
To be produced by Dhanush’s banner Wunderbar Films, the movie is being directed by Kabali director Pa. Ranjith. The film also stars Huma Qureshi as the female lead and shooting begins on May 28 in Mumbai.
