Senior Tollywood Director K Vasu No More
HYDERABAD: The Telugu film industry has lost another gem. Renowned Tollywood director K. Vasu, 72, is no more. The late director began his directorial journey with the Telugu movie "Pranam Kharidhu," produced by Kranthi Kumar in 1978, was a highly respected figure in Tollywood. Vasu starred megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role in "Pranam Kharidhu," catapulting him to stardom. It marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between Vasu and Chiranjeevi, who became one of the biggest stars in the Telugu film industry.
Throughout his illustrious career, K. Vasu directed numerous critically acclaimed films that left a lasting impact on the audience. Some of his notable works include "America Alludu" (1985), "Repati Rowdy" (1993), and "Todu Dongalu" (1981). These movies showcased Vasu's versatility as a director and his ability to bring out stellar performances from his actors.
