Madhavan to make Telugu debut with Ram Charan starrer Savyasachi

The buzz surrounding Naga Chaitanya’s forthcoming film Savyasachi has just gotten bigger. While the film has already garnered curiosity for its storyline, the latest we hear is that Tamil actor Madhavan might play a significant role in the new-age thriller. Apparently, the Sakhi actor was recently given a narration and he was excited with his characterisation as well as the script, and was pleased to come on board. The film marks his debut in Telugu.

“The film’s director, Chandoo Mondeti, felt that a star actor from another industry will bring a fresh appeal to a significant role in the film. He felt Madhavan would bring authenticity and a glow to the great role. The rest of the modalities are being worked out,” informs a source.

Interestingly, Madhavan has garnered good acclaim in Tollywood without starring in a single Telugu film (although his films have been remade or dubbed in Telugu in the past).
