After the ban on big currency notes, all eyes are on Tollywood to see how the producers manage their unaccounted money. Incidentally, it hasn’t hurt any of the producers as most of them have pragmatically cleared the old stock. “Many of them have paid nearly six month of advance payment for the employees working on their films. Usually when a film starts shooting, more than 50 employees work regularly on it and if it is a big film, the number of employees increases too. So the producers have smartly paid the salaries in advance to finish off the old stock,” says a source. With this, most of the producers are relieved and they didn’t have to bother or be worried of the currency ban. Recently the producer of a new film, where a leading producer’s son is playing the lead has done the same thing. This also seems to be the reason the films are being shot non-stop without any interruptions.
