Lakshmi’s NTR gets censor clearance!
The second one happens to depict how an affair between a man and a woman changed the very face of Andhra Pradesh politics for good.
Ram Gopal Varma's Lakshmi’s NTR has finally received clearance from the censor board. Both the Telugu states are busy with campaigning for the upcoming elections and despite the Election Commission’s model code of conduct, the film has acquired its release rights and has been granted the U certificate. According to RGV, there are four primary areas that the film focuses on. The first one is the drama happened in the last days of NTR’s life due to his relationship with Lakshmi Parvathi.
The second one happens to depict how an affair between a man and a woman changed the very face of Andhra Pradesh politics for good. Since most of the story surrounds Lakshmi Parvathi, the third one is how her coming into NTR’s life ultimately caused his downfall and death.
The fourth one happens to be about the Viceroy episode and the political turmoil that led to it, and this episode exposes the present Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and talks about the main reason behind NTR’s death.
On his end, Ram Gopal Varma continues to publicise about the film on social media, especially now that his film has received the sanction from the censor board. “Truth wins @ncbn Censor Board Clears #LakshmisNTR with a UNIVERSALLY VIEWABLE U CERTIFICATE (sic),” Ram Gopal Varma said in a recent tweet.
