Karan Johar's Tollywood outing
Interestingly, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has expressed an interest in backing the Hindi version of the film.
Akhil Akkineni has been very careful with choosing scripts. He may soon team up with director Satya Prabhas Pinisetty (director Ravi Raja Pinisetty’s son) for a bilingual. Interestingly, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar has expressed an interest in backing the Hindi version of the film.
The new-age script has struck a chord with Karan, who was already looking forward to bankrolling a Telugu project (under the Dharma Productions banner).
A source in the know says, “Karan was given a narration. Now he’s keen to support the Hindi version. The modalities are still being worked out. If all goes well, Dharma Productions might come on board.”
The producer for the Telugu version is yet to be decided. Interestingly, Akhil’s father, Nagarjuna is currently shooting for a Hindi film titled Brahmastra, which is also being produced by Karan.
