Colors Swathi mum on divorce rumours'

Tollywood actress Swathi Reddy, who was seen in films like ‘Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule’, ‘Swamy Ra Ra’, ‘Karthikeya’ and ‘Panchatantram’, has carved a niche for herself in Tollywood. After a gap, she is returning with another Telugu film ‘Month of Madhu’. At the trailer launch of her new film, she was reluctant to scotch her divorce rumours and said,  "Nenu cheppa (I won't say ). I started my career at 16, and I didn't know how it would have been if social media existed back then. I would have been taken for a ride. I didn't know how to conduct myself. But, now, I have a set of rules as a professional actor. I feel it's not related to the event. I will not say anything about my personal life. So, I choose not to answer your question."

She later introduced Telugu star Sai Dharam Tej as her class mate and claimed that he used to copy from her papers while they were doing their graduation. ‘He used to take my help,” she quipped but Sai denied it amidst laughter between two college mates who turned actors now. The film is slated for release on October 6 and it features Naveen Chandra and Swathi in the lead roles. It is being helmed by Srikanth Nagothi
