Actor Shiva Balaji visits tribal villages

The actor, along with software professional Tula Arun, interacted with tribals from Tiviti, Bhaduguda and Marlapalli villages.

Adilabad: Telugu cine actor Shiva Balaji on Sunday visited tribal villages in Boath mandal to interact with them and to try and understand the problems they were facing including suicides by some farmers and the crisis in agriculture. He extended his support to the deceased farmers’ families and promised them help during his next visit. The actor, along with software professional Tula Arun, interacted with tribals from Tiviti, Bhaduguda and Marlapalli villages. The tour was organised by the Tula Arun who runs a charitable trust in memory of his father late Tula Subhash.

Shiva Balaji handed over Rs 15,000 financial aid on behalf of the trust to the children of late Saliganti Mallesh who died in the Gulf and was native of Sonala of Boath mandal. Under the programme called ‘Way to Success Programme’, the trust members led by Tula Arun distributed books and interacted with school and college students.
