Mahesh Babu and Sukumar film may get postponed

Mahesh Babu, who is busy shooting for his upcoming Maharshi is all likely to join director Sukumar once the film is completed. But according to a source, the Sukumar and Mahesh Babu combination may not take place as expected. “Sukumar narrated two stories to Mahesh Babu, which he didn’t like. Sukumar is therefore still working on the story. In the meantime, Mahesh Babu is thinking of going with a young director instead of Sukumar,” says a source.

Mahesh Babu is going to complete his present film by March and it will hit the screens in April. “He had already announced the film with Sukumar, but the Superstar is now taking more care. He is now asking for the complete bound script and will only then go into shooting,” added the source. 

Mahesh is also eager to work with a young director and has asked a few directors to come up with subjects. “In the last few films he was working with senior directors, so that’s also another reason to opt for a new director,” added the source. Sandeep Vanga of Arjun Reddy fame, Ajay Bhupathi of RX 100 fame, Parasuram who made Geetha Govindam and a few more directors met Mahesh Babu in the last few months.
