Kabir Duhan Singh dubs in Telugu
After his debut, Kabir went on a signing spree and signed nearly 11 films back-to-back.
Actor Kabir Duhan Singh, who made a stellar debut as the antagonist in Jil, is all set to dub for himself in an upcoming film with debutant director Ashwin Kumar V. “I wasn’t sure at first and asked them if my accent would be a problem. But they felt my voice was good and that I should give it a try. I am glad I did,” shares Kabir, whose character has no shades of grey, for a change.
The actor, who is yet to become fluent in Telugu, says, “I recorded for six hours straight and it’s definitely given me confidence in terms of the language.”
After his debut, Kabir went on a signing spree and signed nearly 11 films back-to-back. But the actor, who also forayed into Tamil and Kannada cinema with blockbusters like Vedalam and Hebbuli has visibly slowed down in an attempt to do one thing at a time, and currently has only two Telugu films coming up. “Luckily for me, both the roles are very interesting and different from what I have done before. For a change, I will be seen in a positive role.”
