Sirish borrows uncle's title
Chiranjeevi had previously acted in a film titled Yuddha Bhoomi, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, which turned out to be a big flop.
Sometime back, Allu Sirish made his Malayalam debut with Mohan Lal in the film 1971: Beyond Borders. However, the film, which released in April last year, didn’t do well at the box-office despite having a war backdrop and the presence of superstar Mohan Lal.
Now, the same film is releasing in Telugu as Yuddha Bhoomi. Mohan Lal will play the Major’s role while Allu Sirish is cast as the Lieutenant. Directed by Major Ravi, the only interesting thing about this film is that Allu Sirish is using the title of his uncle’s old film for the Telugu version.
Chiranjeevi had previously acted in a film titled Yuddha Bhoomi, directed by K. Raghavendra Rao, which turned out to be a big flop.
Now, the makers are using the same title for the Telugu version of this Allu Sirish-starrer and it remains to be seen how this film fares with the Telugu audience.
