'Dance always gives you an edge'
For someone just two films old, Sreeleela’s lineup of films certainly makes any actress envious. She’s presently the most sought-after actress in Tollywood with as many as 8 films lined up. And all projects are star-studded.
Sreeleela has Skanda, starring Ram Pothineni, up for release in September. This is followed by another big ticket film Bhagavanth Kesari in October. Aadikesava will hit the screens in November and she rounds off the year with Extraordinary Man in December. She starts off 2024 with a bang as Guntur Kaaram, starring Mahesh Babu is set for Sankranti release. “I have signed all films at various timelines, but it’s surreal to have so many releases lined up,” she comments.
Apart from Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh and Vijay Deverakonda’s gangster drama, she has two more films lined up. “I feel blessed and lucky to have got the opportunity to be part of several films.” When you ask her what was the secret in bagging all the plum projects, she replies, “I am enjoying what I do, and that’s keeping me going.
Sreeleela is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer and started her practice when she was three. The actress even has her own fan base for her killer dance moves. In fact, one of her bigger assets is her expressive side, and this aspect she ascribes to her dance stint.
“Dance always gives you an edge and adds another facet to acting. It’s great that I am also getting the opportunities to showcase my dance skills,” the actress shares, explaining her passion for dance.
