Payal Rajput caught unawares!

Actress Payal Rajput is super annoyed with the makers of her forthcoming film after they issued a press statement that she’s officially on board for their film, Arundhati 2.

Apparently, producer Koti Tumula has stated that Payal will be starring as the leading lady in the sequel to the blockbuster 2009 film, Arundhati which starred Anushka Shetty.

However, the RX 100 actress, who was caught completely off guard by this official communication, is apparently infuriated with these reports.

While Payal had been approached for the part some time ago and had expressed her interest to be a part of the project, she reportedly never had any narration nor met the filmmakers with regards to Arundhati 2.

A source informs, “Payal Rajput was the first choice of the filmmakers to star in Arundhati 2. She was even approached to know whether she would be interested to be a part of the sequel. However, she only evinced interest at the surface level. Naturally, she was quite surprised to see the production house making an official confirmation without consulting her.”
