Danayya's announcement hurt me: Bunny Vasu
It hurts me personally, because Danayya didn't even call me before making an announcement, Bunny Vasu said.
One of the hottest topics in the industry right now is that Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun’s upcoming films Bharat Ane Nenu and Naa Peru Surya respectively, are releasing on April 27 next year. D.V.V. Danayya, the producer of Mahesh Babu’s film, announced recently that the film will be released on the aforementioned date. And it has not gone down well with Bunny Vasu, the producer of Allu Arjun’s film.
“It hurts me personally, because Danayya didn’t even call me before making an announcement. We are sticking to the same release date too for our film,” Vasu said, adding that generally the producers discuss with each before locking a big film’s release date.
“We announced our film’s release date at the launch of the film. We knew that there were no film releases scheduled for the summer of 2018; and actually, Danayya’s film was supposed to come during Pongal. We didn’t want to clash with Ram Charan’s film either, so we announced April 27,” he explains
