Jagapathi Babu to play Chandrababu Naidu in Teja's biopic?
The makers are planning to end the film's story when NTR is sworn in as the chief minister.
Director Teja is currently on the lookout for actors for his upcoming film NTR, a biopic on the life of the late N. T. Rama Rao. According to a source, the director is planning to approach Jagapathi Babu (JB) to play Chandrababu Naidu’s role. “When NTR entered politics, Chandrababu looked young and the makers thought that Jagapathi Babu would be the right person with a little make up,” says the source.
Additionally, Kalyan Ram could be approached to play his father, Nandamuri Hari Krishna’s character in the film. “The makers are planning to end the film’s story when NTR is sworn in as the chief minister. During the election campaign, Hari Krishna used to drive NTR’s vehicle, so they want to approach Kalyan Ram for the role,” added the source.
Meanwhile, the team is still contemplating names for the lead actress, who will portray NTR’s wife, Basavatarakam’s role.
