Bold act in vain

Actress Hebah Patel found popularity in Tollywood after her bold act in the film Kumari 21F that was released in 2015. The film went on to be a super success and the actress then acted in few more successful films. However, Hebah’s last three films bombed at the box-office and she was hoping the movie 24 Kisses would turn things around for her.

But the actress’ hopes were dashed, as this steamy film failed to excite audiences. Hebah Patel may be counted as the only Telugu actress to have notched up as many lip locks in a single film. “When director Ayodhya Kumar narrated the role to her, she perhaps felt it would be another bold part that would help her career. Given that it was a performance-oriented role, she may have agreed to do the kissing scenes,” says a source.

The film was unable to get a decent opening and this left Hebah disappointed. She felt her bold act was in vain. “She is now taking a break and would like to come back with a commercial film,” says the source.
