Actor Naga Shourya is all set to start shooting his next film from April 10 onwards, directed by debutant Venkat Kudumula. After delivering a successful film, Jyo Achyutananda, the actor took a break and didn’t sign any film. Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in as the female lead.

“We wanted to produce a film with my son and it has finally worked out now. Venkat worked with director Trivikram earlier and we liked the story he narrated to us,” says Shankar Prasad, one of the producers and father of Naga Shourya. He adds that they also know Venkat from a long time. “We believe in his talent and gave this project to him,” says Prasad.

The film has a college backdrop and is a romance-entertainer. “When we decided to produce a film with Naga Shourya, we wanted it take his career to the next level. So after working for many months, we finally locked the script,” says Shankar Prasad. The dialogues are sure to have Trivikram’s touch as Venkat has been associated with him for so long.
