Chennai-based martial arts expert Shihan Hussaini who also acted in some movies claimed that Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan was adamant about learning Karate from him. “At that time in the 1990s, I had stopped teaching Karate as I was busy running a security agency. But Pawan used to come to my place every day for a month and was determined to learn from me,’ says Hussiani in a video which has gone viral. “He used to stay with me and even served me tea as I was his tutor and a few times even cleaned our room and stayed with me for over a year,” he adds.

In fact, Hussaini didn’t know that he was the brother of popular Telugu star Chiranjeevi. “I got to know about it after three or four months of training since he wanted to learn martial arts like a commoner and proved his capability,’ he points out. He claims that Pawan Kalyan was a special student and learnt things much faster. “He received black belt and it was a unique feat for his perseverance," he adds. He claims that Pawan Kalyan used those skills in his film ‘Thamudu’ where he puts his palms under car wheels and it was a rocking hit. “He did a fabulous job in showing his skills,” he concludes.

Right now, Pawan Kalyan has big ticket films like ‘OG’, ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ and is going to enthrall his huge fan following in the days to come.
