Vishwak Sen was not first choice for Gangs of Godavari?

Telugu film Gangs of Godavari is hitting the screens tomorrow and all eyes are on this film as it has been quite some time since Tollywood and the box office have seen a hit. Starring Vishwak Sen, Neha Shetty and Anjali in lead roles, the film is directed by Krishna Chaitanya and produced by Naga Vamsi under Sitara Entertainments.

As the release date has gotten closer, the makers have been promoting the film extensively and leaving no stone unturned when it comes to making sure that it reaches the audience.

One of the promotions producer, and the director have revealed that hero Vishwak Sen was not the first choice to play the lead in the film. They revealed that Actor Sharma Anand was first approached for the character of Ratna, but he could not be part of the film due to his prior commitments.

Also, it is known that Hindi Bigg Boss fame Ayesha Khan has done a special dance number in this film. Initially actress Eesha Rebba was approached for the same song, but in the middle of the shooting, the actress walked out of the project due to some reasons. This, once again proves that the stories that are written, keeping someone in mind are sometimes not meant for them.
