Hyderabad: Tamil star Vikram was floored by the love and affection shown by Telugu fans at an event in Hyderabad. “The energy shown by you all is unmatched and I am experiencing goosebumps,” says the actor coming up with another different movie ‘Thangalan’. “I always received a warm welcome from Telugu fans since they are the best audience who enjoy good movies without any qualms,” he adds. He claims that he has a strong connection with the Telugu audience and also addresses them by speaking in fluent Telugu. ‘They have always encouraged me without any bias and I wish they continue to offer me loads of love,“ he adds.

He further said, “When I saw clippings of my previous roles at this event, I was amused and a bit surprised too. I have explored varied roles and my role in ‘Thangalan’ could be one of my best ones. But you have to judge it after watching the film,” he points out. He also thanked all the dignitaries who said ‘sweet things’ about him and his body of work. “I would be happy if my journey inspired a few actors,” he quips.

Earlier, the Kollywood star had tasted success in the two Telugu states with big hits like ‘Sivaputhrudu’, ‘Aparachitudu’, and ‘Mallanna’ and also won critical acclaim for ‘Nanna’ and showcased his versatility. Thereafter, he hit a lean patch of sorts with duds like ‘Rajapettai’ and ‘Sketch’ and now he is hoping to make a comeback of sorts with ‘Thangalan. “It has magic, action, and message besides loads of moments,” concludes Vikram.
