UK stewardess wins passengers' ire for making we don't want to die' remark

London: Already annoyed with delayed take-off, passengers of a UK flight did not take it well when a stewardess, in an attempt to lighten the mood, announced, “We have ice on the wing - we don't want to die!”

Flights across the UK were grounded or delayed owing to heavy snowfall, and the Ryanair flight FR5773 from Glasgow to Dublin, largely carrying  holiday goers, was one of them.

A video, showing outraged passengers retorting harshly to the stewardess’ announcement, presumably to lighten the atmosphere, has gone viral in social media.
