Neta's Natter | Senior politico loses cool as press releases censored
A top Hyderabad politician said that they were issued an ultimatum that every press note had to be sent to him first
Hyderabad: Some senior politicians in the Telangana state are said to be irked by the interference of the bureaucracy in their political activities. A top Hyderabad politician, who claims to be closely monitored not only by the party high command but also a senior bureaucrat, said that they were issued an ultimatum that every press note had to be sent to him first and should be released after multiple checks by himself and partymen. This highhandedness of the bureaucrat and party high command is said to have irritated the senior politician so much that he is now planning to complain against the same through the suppor of his father, who assured him to have a discussion with Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao against the top bureaucrat and a powerful party leader. “We are living in a democratic country and party leadership is acting in a feudalistic manner. My dad asked me to interact with the press with no hesitation and he would speak to Chandrashekar Rao and complain against the powerful people in the system. I am not a puppet and I have the freedom to comment on any Hyderabad issue," said the senior politician.
