Deepika shares a light-hearted moment with journalist Ram Kamal Mukherjee. The latter said it was difficult to convince the actress for the book.
Subhash Ghai was also among the celebrities present at the event. His film institute had honoured Hema Malini in 2015.
Ramesh Sippy arrived for the event with wife Kiran Juneja. The filmmaker has given Hema Malini some iconic characters like 'Sholay's Basanti and 'Seeta Aur Geeta.'
Madhoo Shah came out in style for the event. The 'Roja' fame actress had made her TV debut recently.
Hema Malini's younger daughter Ahana arrived for the event with husband Vaibhav Vora. Unlike Esha, Ahana didn't venture in the glamour world.
Hema Malini's elder daughter Esha arrived for the event with husband Bharat Takhtani. The couple is set to become parents for the first time.
