Mumbai: Saying that Aam Admi Party's success could be a fluke, Union Agriculture Minister and NCP chief Sharad Pawar advised his party workers on Sunday not to get demoralised.

"In Assam, Prafulla Kumar Mahanta fought elections for the first time and became Chief Minister at a very young age. After that I have not heard about him in the last 25 years. Such 'Aap-ghats' (accident, in Marathi) do happen in politics. So don't lose heart," Pawar said, addressing NCP workers here on Sunday.

Delhi Assembly elections and national elections are two different things, he said.

"There is no need to worry about the Delhi assembly results. Such waves come and go," he said.

Pawar, who has recently started blogging and tweeting, said social media will play a very important role in politics, and he too was learning to use it.
