“While NaMo anthem exists already in Hindi, this is for the first time that a song has been solely dedicated to Modi in Tamil. The music and lyrics for the anthem were rendered anew and were not adopted from Hindi version,” said A. Vinodh, founder of NaMo Peravai in Tamil Nadu.

This eight-minute song rendered by Koushik, Malavika, Satya Prakash and Praveen of ‘Super Singer’ fame, a television programme describes the achievements of Modi and his abilities to being about a better transformation in the nation.

“The song can be played during public meetings and party affairs. One may feel motivated to pledge their support for Modi on hearing this song that has a soothing music with the chanting of NaMo, in its backdrop, all through the song. We feel that this song will be a perfect medium to reach out to all sections of the society,” he said.

The song is a mix of classical and Carnatic music catering to the likes of people in Tamil Nadu.  The song is also likely to be promoted as mobile ring tone and caller tune. “While Modi needs no introduction among the urbanites, oud main aim is to popularise Narendra Modi as the future Prime Minister among the villagers. Hence we firmly believe that our campaign activities will surely bring in a positive change in the country,” said Vinodh.

The NaMo anthem is to be released at a marriage hall in Coimbatore in the presence of several BJP leaders on January 5. The NaMo Peravai, a non-political group comprising 8,000 registered members from all walks of life in Tamil Nadu has also taken up aggressive campaign to promote Modi through social networking sites.
