The AAP?has asked Vishal to head its southern wing. Will he agree, is the question now.

Things couldn’t get better for actor Vishal, if the reports being circulated on the web and in tinsel town are to be believed. The actor who tasted success on the career front with Pandiya Naadu after a slew of flops is now the busiest man in Kollywood. The major piece of news is that Vishal has been approached by the recently floated Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to head the southern wing of the party. Though several Bollywood stars took to Twitter and other social networking media to applaud the huge victory of Arvind Kejriwal who took  AAP to victory in the Delhi Legislative Assembly elections, very few front line heroes or heroines from the south wanted to be associated with any party at least in public. There were a few exceptions though, like Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who wrote on her Twitter account, welcoming the AAP’s win. Vishal, who apparently spoke on a popular national TV channel, said that he was happy that AAP won and that it was a major  change.

Perhaps that could have triggered off the buzz that the actor has been roped in by the AAP to head their southern wing. When DC contacted Vishal, he did say that Aam Aadmi Party was one party to look out for in the future, but refused comment on the issue of him being approached by them.

All he had to say was, “I like the party’s ideals and when people stand up in one voice, it grabs immediate attention. I guess that’s what AAP has done. As of now, my hands are full with several projects and I am also busy with Celebrity Cricket League. So, I will speak at an appropriate time.”
