Hindu devotees gather in West London for chariot procession

Thousands of Hindu devotees gathered in Ealing, West London to celebrate the annual chariot festival, marking the biggest event of the year.
The event was organised by UK's Shri Kanagathurkkai Amman Temple.
Hindu devotees roll on the road as they perform an act of devotion.
More than 10,000 people join in the celebration, making it the biggest event of the year.
The procession is carried out in the memory of Hindu God of War, Murugan's victory over a demon using special 'vel' spear.
Women, dressed in traditional attire, carry pots filled with milk during the procession.
People often resort to body piercing to display their act of devotion.
