Hyderabad: Police Raid Uncovers Drugs at Night Party: 24 Held

Hyderabad: In a late-night raid on a party at The Cave Club in Khajaguda, law enforcement agencies including the SOT Madhapur, Shamshabad, TGNAB, and the Excise Department, uncovered a significant drug operation. Acting on a tip-off about drug use at the venue, the police took 55 individuals into custody and conducted drug tests. Among those tested, 27 were found to be positive for substances such as ganja and cocaine.
The raid also resulted in the seizure of a substantial quantity of drugs, including Methamphetamine. Authorities arrested 24 individuals, including the DJ, who is believed to be connected to the drug distribution.
Several students were among those who tested positive for drugs. During the operation, police confiscated 24 mobile phones and 24 drug test kits, all of which have been handed over to Raidurgam Police Station.
The arrested individuals have been charged under the relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The SOT police urged the public to report any information related to drug use and sales, assuring them of prompt action.
