Pro Kabaddi league: Rahul Chaudhari set to lead Titans
Telugu Titans won their third place play-off match against Patna Pirates.
Hyderabad: Star raider Rahul Chaudhari of Uttar Pradesh will lead Telugu Titans in the third season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi league which is set to start on January 30 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
With a total of 249 raid points — the highest in the league — Rahul is optimistic about his team’s chances in the tournament. “I have full faith on my team. We have got a balanced side with good mix of experience and youth. I believe we have the ability to go far in the league,” he said at a press conference.

Charu Sharma, Director of Mashal Sports which manages the League, said that efforts are on to start a women’s kabaddi league as well. “I can say here that the first professional league for women will take place very soon in the field of kabaddi,” he said. The final is scheduled to be held on March 5 in Mumbai.
