Blacklisted private school likely to get licence today
The victim\'s parents reported the incident on October 18
HYDERABAD: The private school where a four-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by the principal's driver in the school premises could get its licence on Tuesday.
Information to this extent was given to parents of the school’s students on Monday. The district education officer (DEO) is expected to confirm it on Tuesday.
The victim's parents reported the incident on October 18. They alleged that the driver of the school principal had been raping the girl for the past two months. Following the incident, the licence of the school was cancelled on orders from the education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy.
However, several parents of students studying at the school appealed to the government to reopen the school with a different management, so that the academics of students are not adversely affected.
