JNTU-A planning online semester exams
Midterm exams of JNTU-A are being conducted successfully since Friday under a pilot project
ANANTAPUR: Having successfully conducted midterm examinations online, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Anantapur, is planning to organise semester examinations for all its affiliated and constituent engineering colleges in Rayalaseema and Nellore areas.
Midterm exams of JNTU-A are being conducted successfully since Friday under a pilot project.
As the state board of higher education has decided to change the examination pattern in dealing with Coronavirus pandemic, online examination will turn out to be a great idea for all colleges.
“We are planning to introduce online examinations from next semester across all engineering colleges of both affiliated and constituent colleges of the university,” JNTU-A vice chancellor Prof. Ranga Janardhan said.
University authorities have started a separate web portal to conduct online exams. The question paper will be sent to the student who can download by using his / her user ID and password. They can write their answers online adhering to the schedule and timings, officials said.
